Legal New Year Celebration

At the turn of the year, we will witness how the incessant media coverage in order to welcome the coming year 2007M. Seen that the people rejoiced hopes hang with it.

Before discussing more about the law of the celebration to welcome the new year, let's see first-year history of setting 1 January as a sign of the new year.

"Which means: Verily Allah has replaced them for you for two days is better than both: Iedul Iedul Adha and Eid"

Similarly, there is a saheeh hadeeth from the ADL-bin Thabit Dlahhak quoted 'anhu that he said, "A man has bernadzar during the Prophet' alayhi wa sallam to slaughter a camel as in Buwanah qurban. Then he came to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam as he said.

"Which means: Verily I have bernadzar to slaughter a camel as in Buwanah qurban. Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam asked,' Is it there is one of the idols that are worshiped Jaahiliyyah? They said, 'No'. He asked again. 'What is in it there is one of their big day?'. They said, 'No'. Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,' Fulfil nadzarmu because it does not need to keep nadzar in Allah and disobeying Allaah in what not owned (not able to do) by human "

Umar ibn al-Khaththtab quoted 'anhu said, "Do you visit the idolaters in the churches (houses of worship) them on their big day because it really God's wrath will fall upon them"

He said again, "Avoid the enemies of Allah on the momentum of their big day"

And from Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-Ash quoted 'anhu, he said, "He who dwells in foreign countries, then make a new year and festivals like them and like them until he died in this condition, then he will be collected with them on Judgement Day "

Based on the exposure that has been stated above, it should not be ruling on a Muslim who believes in Allah as your Lord and Islam as a religion and Muhammad as a prophet and messenger, organized celebrations the great days that there is no foundation in Islam, including the party 'New Year'. Also, should not be present at the show, participate and assist in its implementation in any form because it is a sin, and beyond the rules of God, while God himself superbly says, "And do not bertolong help above and beyond the limit of sin, fear Allah for verily Allah is a painful torment "[al-anymore: 2]

Unfortunately there are still many among the Muslims who imitate their celebration. Some even participated celebrate their holidays. Among others there who congratulated meramaikannya or participate in various events such as blowing a trumpet on the night of the new year and a semisalnya. And put the ornaments in her home at the time of their celebration.

This does not mean the Muslims to ignore and not take a lesson from these events. Even the Muslims always claimed to always fill her days with useful activities and approves Allaah. However (this is forbidden) because the celebration is one form of worship that should not be devoted to be done repeatedly (ditradisikan, red) unless there is a command from Allaah or His Messenger.

If the best people of this Ummah (the Apostle and his companions) did not, then what causes someone to do it? Does he know better and higher knowledge of the shahabat? Or does he consider the shahabat know better but they do not want their knowledge?
